  4. This miraculous event led to the consecration of the lingam and the construction of the temple around it.
  5. The temple's rich history is intertwined with the Travancore royal family, who were ardent devotees of Lord Shiva.
  6. The temple was regularly visited by the Travancore kings, who held it in high esteem and contributed to its maintenance and upkeep.
